Annual Concert
A communal organization such as Machon L’Torah needs to have the necessary funds to function and maintain success. Our general philosophy in communal fundraising is to make fundraising functions meaningful and fun-filled to the utmost degree possible. This is why our concert, Machon’s second largest fundraiser, combines an evening of Jewish music with spiritually uplifting songs, an array of world famous singers and musicians, and an extensive sponsorship drive. Generally held during the holiday of Chanukah, which symbolizes the miraculous comeback of authentic Judaism, the concert is well attended and provides music for the ear and soul.

Our general philosophy in communal fundraising, however, is to make fundraising functions meaningful and fun-filled to the extent possible. The annual dinner, our major fundraiser activity of the year, meets both goals. |

Raffle
Anticipation may be one of life's pleasures. And this pleasure can be elevated, believe it or not, to a spiritual and meaningful level. How so? Machon L'Torah, the Jewish Learning Network of Michigan, is in the forefront of the Detroit Jewish community's outreach efforts, enabling Jews from all walks of life to either reconnect with their heritage or strengthen their ties with the wonderful legacy of the Jewish people, thereby strengthening the Jewish People and brightening our future. To continue this important task, Machon L'Torah needs funds! One of the ways to raise funds is to hold a raffle. This is how the idea of Machon's raffle evolved.

Chinese Auction
A Chinese Auction is similar to a huge raffle. The major difference is that participants specify in advance which prizes they want to win and have a much greater chance of winning them.
